At Cameron Landscapes & Gardens, we have 22 years of experience in designing inspirational and bespoke gardens across London, from a courtyard garden in Chelsea, to a boutique rooftop in Kensington or a large family garden in Holland Park. Our scope for garden design is unlimited.
Our procedure involves an initial meeting with a Cameron in-house garden designer so that the client can convey exactly what it is they want to achieve from their outside space. The client will then receive a written design proposal outlining ideas and garden design solutions, plus a breakdown of the costs which will be incurred to shape the final design plan.
For a standard garden design, these fees cover three main stages, taking the process through from liaising over the concept, discussing ideas, using mood boards, and then pushing the agreed concept through to the final detailed, to scale, design.
At this stage the project manager will then draw up a detailed quote outlining the cost of hard landscaping and planting plans. Once agreed, the Cameron construction teams can start the hard-landscaping work, while the designer works on planting schemes. When the plants have been decided on with the client, the soft-landscaping teams can start to plant up the garden.
We are passionate about plants and planting here at Cameron Landscape & Gardens and have a vast, instinctive plant knowledge. Colour preference and plant type are personal so we listen to your likes and dislikes and then we draw up bespoke planting schemes designed to suit your outside space exactly. Be it a large family garden with abundant, bold foliage and eye-catching flora, or something more minimalist and scaled back such as a chic, low maintenance courtyard, we aim to ensure your garden looks fabulous all year round.
With their extensive plant knowledge, our in-house designers can offer you plants for all aspects and all gardens. Whether it’s a complex planting scheme starting from scratch, a re-design of your borders or simply suggestions on how to bring your winter garden to life with pretty annuals or advice on additional planting to fill in unwanted gaps, we have the solution at our fingertips.
We oversee every stage of the planting procedure carefully and after an initial meeting at the site to discuss the planting concept with the client, we provide a planting plan detailing varieties, numbers, spacing and plant positions alongside a mood board. Normally the budget for the planting plan is independent of the other phases.
Once the concept has been approved, we will then purchase the plants – no matter how unusual the variety – and one of our plant specialists will then place them to ensure the end result reaches its full potential. You can then sit back and watch your garden blossom.
