Cameron Gardens - The Company
Alasdair Cameron founded Cameron Landscapes & Gardens in 1992 after working for landscape design and construction companies throughout Europe, including Helen Dorrien-Smith. Alasdair studied Architectural and Interior Design at The Country House Course in Kent and completed his training at Merrist Wood. In 1998 Cameron Landscapes & Gardens moved its premises from Chelsea to larger offices in Notting Hill. Robert Diggle joined the company in 2005 as co-manager, bringing with him many years of experience in finance and business development. Robert is a graduate of Cambridge University and holds an MBA from INSEAD. Cameron Landscapes & Gardens is renowned for excellent landscape design, reliable garden construction and efficient garden maintenance. Today the company has an office-based team of eight designers and support staff, plus seven teams of landscape builders and soft landscapers who look after the hands-on construction, planting and maintenance. That the company has in-house designers, plant specialists, site managers and builders, means that all elements of the garden work can be executed and managed by Cameron teams, from the initial garden design concepts at the drawing board to final planting. This has earned Cameron Landscapes & Gardens an excellent reputation for designing and building stylish gardens to budget and on time, from country estates to roof terraces in Kensington.
