This bustling brasserie is a firm favourite from the Ivy stable, providing fabulous al fresco dining in the garden at the back of the restaurant all year round. The extensive terrace and garden, tucked away from the hurly burly of the King’s Road, with its eye-catching array of leafy trellises, exotic palms and smattering of antique pots and planters with pretty seasonal planting, centred round a cosy fire pit, draws guests like bees to honey. The glass covered areas with heaters don’t allow cold weather to spoil the enjoyment either.
By using predominantly evergreen plants the interior and the exterior blend seamlessly together and enhance the atmosphere of relaxed sophistication. The verdant orangery with its eclectic mix of pots, plants, and hanging urns draws the outside in and is romantic by candlelight. The covered upper terrace, abounding with lush foliage, gives the impression of dining in an evergreen glade – all year round.
