The Linnaean is a luxury lifestyle hub – a café, restaurant, hair salon, spa and apothecary – which focuses on nutrition, beauty and wellbeing, in the heart of London’s Embassy Gardens. Cameron was invited to design and install the planting outside the property to contribute to making this a beautiful and inviting sanctuary in which to unwind and be pampered.
The brief was to implement naturalistic planting which would reflect the cool, relaxing décor and atmosphere within. We chose beautiful collections of pots, of varying sizes, heights and materials, such as stone and terracotta. The interplay of evergreen and seasonal planting is eye-catching with splashes of attractive colour, while providing seclusion for tables outside.
The restaurant is a lovely, light and airy space with warm pastel hues made even more delightful by a ceiling festooned with glorious blooms. We dressed the internal shelves throughout the spa with trailing plants and small pots to complement the colour scheme of pale pinks, baby blue and gold finishes. The look is soft, simple and serene and enhances the spirit of nourishment and rejuvenation.
